GTP Proxy

GTP Proxy
Spartified's GTPProxy is a robust and industry-proven solution, empowering mobile operators to effectively manage data sessions for both their subscribers and IoT devices. It unlocks numerous use cases that go beyond the capabilities of a standard core network, providing enhanced flexibility and management capabilities. The solution works across 2G, 3G, and 4G to enable multiple use cases such as advanced routing, topology hiding, APN mapping, IMSI mapping, and local breakout (LBO).
Key Features

Flexible APN Mapping

Enable APN mapping based on incoming APN and subscriber’s IMSI/MSISDN ranges, offering the flexibility to define both one-to-many and many-to-one APN mappings

Smart Routing & Session Management

Enable dynamic routing by considering multiple parameters such as APN, Location, IMSI/MSISDN Range, Cell ID, and RAT type

Configurable Control & User Plane Handling

Option to handle only GTP control plane or control plane + user plane traffic. This decision can be configured based on APN, Subscriber and/or location.

Flexible PGW Selection & Load Balancing

Choose between static or dynamic (DNS-based) PGW/GGSN selection, with the flexibility of Active-Active or Active-Standby load balancing

Technology Agnostic

Solution works seamlessly across 2G, 3G and 4G technologies. GTPv0, GTPv1 and GTPv2 are supported.

Benefits

Protects Revenue Streams

By ensuring smooth and seamless data session establishment.

Reduce Customer Complaints

By seamlessly correcting APNs and connecting to the most optimal gateway.

Reduces Operational Complexity

Reduce the number of APNs to be defined in PGW by enabling APN mapping and parameter modifications

Enhance Enterprise Security

Prevent exposure of enterprise gateways by implementing topology hiding for roaming scenarios.

Enable Flexible & Dynamic Gateway Selection

Enable routing based on APN, Subscriber and visited network. Traditional networks can implement routing based on APN only.

Implement New Use Cases

Allows operators to implement new use cases like local breakout and selective policy control
